Over the past year or so, I have been working with Elyssia Bugg and Jeremy Eaton on developing part of the 2020 Archipelagic Encounters symposium into a journal issue. It has been a fantastic, deeply enriching experience learning from Jeremy’s extensive experience and Elyssia’s distinct perspective. It was further satisfying to gain a more intimate understanding of different approaches toward research in art, art history and film.
