I presented a paper titled “Art Writing on the Margins: The textual record in the Singapore context” to Europe-based art historical scholars. In this paper, I used Lee Wen’s Ghost Stories as my primary case study and argued for the presence of a localised form of art history that would have been evident to contemporary Singaporeans.
